What’s Included in Your End of Lease Service?

Our comprehensive end-of-lease clean covers the deep, intensive cleaning required for a successful final inspection. Please note: the property must be completely empty of furniture and personal belongings prior to our arrival.

Kitchen:

  • Degrease and deep clean the oven interior, stovetop, and splashback

  • Degrease and clean the rangehood and exhaust filters

  • Clean inside, outside, and on top of all cupboards and drawers

  • Wipe down all benchtops, sinks, and polish tapware

  • Clean the inside and outside of the dishwasher and microwave (if applicable)

Bathrooms & Laundry:

  • Intensive shower scrub (removing soap scum and hard water stains)

  • Scrub baths, basins, and tapware

  • Clean ceiling exhaust fans

  • Disinfect toilets (inside and out)

  • Clean inside vanity cupboards, laundry cabinets, and wipe down sinks

Bedrooms, Living Areas & Hallways:

  • Wash and wipe down all skirting boards, door frames, and doors

  • Remove all cobwebs and dust from high corners

  • Clean accessible light switches and power points

  • Clean the inside of all built-in wardrobes, cupboards, and drawers

  • Clean and polish all mirrors

Windows & Floors:

  • Clean the interior glass of all accessible windows

  • Vacuum and wipe out all visible window tracks and sills

  • Thoroughly vacuum all carpets (Steam cleaning available as an add-on)

  • Vacuum and heavily mop all hard floors

  • Sweep out the garage (if applicable)

Optional End of Lease Add-Ons:

  • Carpet Steam Cleaning (per room): $55

  • Balcony Sweep & Wipe: $39

  • Wall Washing (per wall): $29

  • To prevent cross-contamination between homes and ensure we only use the products you know and trust on your specific surfaces, we ask that clients provide their own cleaning products, along with a working vacuum and mop. If you need recommendations for the best products to leave out, we are more than happy to help!

  • You are welcome to be home while we work, but you certainly don't have to be. Many of our clients prefer to step out and return to a pristine house. Since all our technicians are fully police-checked and vetted, you can leave with total peace of mind.

  • If you won't be home, you can leave a spare key in a secure lockbox, hide it in an agreed-upon location, or leave it with your building concierge. Just let us know your preferred access method when booking, and we will keep the details completely secure.

  • Absolutely. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. All Pol Cleaning technicians undergo rigorous police checks before joining our team, and our business is fully insured for any unlikely damages.

  • Booking is completely stress-free. We securely hold your card details on file to confirm your appointment, but your card is never billed until the cleaning is complete and you have confirmed you are 100% satisfied with the results.

  • 100% bond back guarantee. Our End of Lease service is designed specifically in accordance with state-based Consumer Affairs guidelines and strict landlord expectations. If your property manager raises any cleaning-related issues within 72 hours of the clean, we will return to rectify them promptly at no extra cost.

  • It depends entirely on the size of your home and the property’s condition. Our End of Lease clean for a two bedroom can take 6 to 8 hours of labour. We always provide an estimated timeframe when you book.

  • We understand that situations can change rapidly. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This gives us enough time to adjust our technicians' schedules.

  • Yes. Upon completion of your service and successful payment, we immediately email a comprehensive, itemised tax receipt. For our End of Lease clients, this serves as proof of professional cleaning and steam cleaning, if applicable that property managers and stakeholders require to release your bond.

  • Absolutely. Professional carpet steam cleaning is available as an add-on to any of our services for $55 per room. We highly recommend adding this to your End of Lease clean, as it is a standard requirement in most Victorian tenancy agreements to ensure your full bond is returned without any delays.
